Carmenere was thought to be lost in France in the 1800s by the root scourge, Phylloxera. Recently, it was discovered growing in Chile, South America.This is a medium- bodied wine with a fruity cherry flavor and earthy notes.We are so glad it was recovered and it is a favorite in the tasting room.
